At ConnectFood, our mission is to reduce food waste by connecting organizations with surplus food to charities in need. We believe in transforming food waste into hope by ensuring that excess food is redirected to those who need it most, instead of sending it to a landfill.
Our History
ConnectFood was made in 2024 by the creators of Chatterbox (https://chbx.us) with the vision of addressing the dual challenges of food waste and hunger. Inspired by the growing problem of food waste and the increasing number of people facing food insecurity, Chatterbox set out to create a platform that would facilitate the redistribution of surplus food to those in need.
Since its inception, ConnectFood has partnered with numerous organizations and charities to rescue and redistribute millions of pounds of food. Our commitment to sustainability and social responsibility drives us to continuously innovate and expand our reach, ensuring that no edible food goes to waste while people in our communities go hungry.
